I spent my childhood as a chubby little girl, and my teenage years very overweight. As a young mother I carried around my pregnancy weight gain (50 lbs) for years. I was definitely not blessed with the “fitness” gene, I was quite the opposite. If I can do it, so can you. It wasn’t until I was in my early 40’s that fitness became a way of life. I wanted to run around with my grandchildren and have a full and healthy retirement with my husband. I had been going to the gym and not achieving the results I had hoped for until I started studying nutrition, cardiovascular exercise and weight training. That did the trick!! |

With my ISSA certification comes a wealth of knowledge on weight training, nutrition/supplements, and cardiovascular exercise. It takes all of them to achieve your goals, but you must commit to making a lifestyle change! This is what I want for all my clients; a healthy, fit life. I will teach you what to eat and when to eat. Food can be your friend and your body will use it to its advantage. Before I learned about healthy eating my mantra was “food is not my friend…” it is now. Knowledge is powerful. You can spend all day on the treadmill or lifting weights but until you start eating right your body will not make the changes you desire. If you are already at your desired weight and just want to add lean muscle mass, I can help you with that as well. I can even help those that want to gain weight the right way. |
